Entrepreneurship across borders
Abstract
This paper is an introduction to the special issue from the International Workshop on Rethinking Cross-Border Entrepreneurship held in Huelva, in 2020. The paper has four goals. First, to discuss the importance of promoting cross-border entrepreneurship for encouraging economic development, job creation and social cohesion. Second, to examine theoretical contributions and the empirical evidence on the phenomenon of entrepreneurship across borders. Third, to present a summary of the papers and its main contributions. Fourth, to outline potential avenues for further research.
